Visitor FAQs

Visiting a new church can be intimidating. We want to ease your anxiety by telling you exactly what to expect from our church. Here you’ll find the information you need so your visit can be an enjoyable one.

When are services held?

Services are held on Sundays at 9:00AM and 11:00AM in the sanctuary, with Sunday School classes starting at 10:30 and ending before the second service. Also Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 there is a prayer service, this is a fairly unstructured time that is meant to be devoted to prayer.

What are your services like?

Feel free to listen to past sermons on our Sermons page if you’d like a sample of our services. We have a wonderful time of worship that leads into the message for the day. Rest assured that we will not embarrass you or point out that you are a visitor to the entire congregation. We want you to feel comfortable here. There will be a visitors packet available to you in the lobby with information about the church.

What about the music?

We have a full orchestra and choir that lead in a variety of song styles that will usher you into a great time of worship.

What should I wear?

We’ll be glad to see you here no matter what you’re wearing. Some like to dress up, some like to keep it casual.

What about my kids?

There are services for kids held at the same times as our normal services on Sunday mornings, and from 7:00 to 8:30 on Wednesday there is M-Pact for girls and Royal Rangers for boys. Visit our Ministries pages for more information.

When you arrive with your kids you will need to go to the gym lobby to register them at the desk. We have a “Kid Check” system in place here to keep your kids safe. Your child will receive a card with an ID number on it that they will give to their class teacher. You will receive another card with the same ID number on it. Your child cannot be picked up unless the two card numbers match up, ensuring that only you can pick up your child.

What about accessibility?

Our facilities are 100% accessible to those with special needs. There are also translators in the Sunday morning services for those who are hearing impaired.

What about Sunday School?

We offer classes throughout parts of the year on Sunday morning.
