
Andy Hoover
Lead Pastor
The Hoovers moved to Monroeville in 2021 to pastor MAOG. Pastor Andy was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. He is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge and is an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God. Pastor Andy comes to MAOG after 8 years of successful ministry as the Lead Pastor of a church in Lancaster County and 7 years as a youth/associate pastor in Delaware. Pastor Andy has a passion for preaching the word and seeing the local church thrive. Pastor Andy and Lindsay were married in 2007 and have 3 beautiful girls. The Hoovers stay very active, if they are not at the church, you can probably find them at the local ball field, where the girls will be playing softball. As a family, the Hoovers enjoy sports, outdoor activities, and worshiping together.

Kristy Baish
Youth Director
Kristy grew up at MAOG and then returned after marrying Denny in 2003. They have 2 daughters, Mia and Sarah. In 2012, Kristy joined the team as the Youth Admin-after serving for 12 years she stepped into the role of Youth Director. Kristy loves spending time with her family, Compass students, and Young Adults. She is passionate about seeing students grow in their love for God and people.

Rod Kozikowski
Worship Leader
Rod has been a member of MAOG for over 20 years, he and his wife Pam have been married for 34+ years. They have two grown daughters, Kaitlyn and Amy, and also enjoy two grandchildren, Ezra and Cora. Through those twenty plus years, starting as a Kids ministry staff volunteer, then working his way up from Kids ministry to Youth ministry. As time went on he became employed on a part time basis doing cleaning and setup. In 2010 stepping in to a full time employee as Facilities Manager. As time went on and with the launch of our Lower Burrell Campus in 2014, Rod served as Worship Leader there for the next 6 years. Through lots of transitions, today, Rod is currently serving as Worship Leader for our main campus here at Monroeville. Rod says he will continue to lead the congregation to the Throne Room and will also serve where needed as the Lord leads.

Tammy Garris
Care Pastor
Tammy has a heart for the wounded and broken and desires to lead them to healing and wholeness. God has given her a ministry verse from Isaiah 61:1, "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."

AJ Winters
Campus Pastor - Penn Hills
Pastor AJ is a Frostburg, Maryland native. He is a graduate of Life Christian University and a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. He and his wife Grace have been married for 5+ years and have recently welcomed their first child, Malachi. Most recently, AJ served as the Director of Worship and Associate Pastor at Smithfield Assembly of God in Smithfield, Virginia before following God’s call for his life to serve the greater Pittsburgh area. AJ and Grace have a burning passion for service, discipleship, and worship. When they’re not working and changing diapers you can likely find them at PNC Park or at 5 Guys. Bring AJ a box of Cheez Its and Grace a jar of pickles and you will forever hold a special place in their heart!

Persefanie Teaderman
Childrens Director
Persefanie was born and raised in Pittsburgh and graduated from Fox Chapel High School. She is currently pursuing a degree in Student Ministry from Geneva College and will be working toward her credentials in the Assembly of God upon graduation. She is passionate
about creating a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment where kids can discover who God is and how much He loves them. Her desire is to partner with families to help kids shine for Jesus both in the church and in their everyday lives. Outside of ministry, she enjoys spending time outdoors - whether hiking, running, biking, or horseback riding.
